Just linked a recording made playing Trilene (fishing line) strings on the Frankenjo.

	Quartermaster James says: 6/16/2013 3:53:30 PM Sorry! I didn't see Bill's post until I got the notice about today's blog post! My frankenjo is a bunch of parts poorly cobbled together. It desperately needs a new heel cut and dowel reset, but I no longer have space to work on it. I used an old tenor pot salvaged off eBay, an Antonia Tsai neck (also from eBay, and seemingly one of the good ones) a bunch of parts from StewMac, and a tone ring/bearing surface I rolled myself. It's really been a trial and error learning experience, and a lot of fun. I'll try to get some pics up later. Again, sorry for not seeing your question earlier.

The Frankenbanjo sounds like "a bit of braddish" as my dad would say; made from all the bits of "junk" your other half wants to throw away!
