Hello Everyone,

I recently replaced the old leather head on my paramount with a new plastic one. The process ended up being harder than I'd expected, seeing as how moisture over the years left a seal, bonding the leather to the metal. I did not know this at the time and decided that the neck heal might be adding some resistance. Thus, I removed the neck and proceeded with my project. However, I became distracted by the odd construction of the truss rod to the neck heal. The connection between the two looks very week appearing to be glued face to face. Is this true or is it more like a mortise and tenon?

mosco says: 2/2/2016 5:00:52 PM I've not had one of these apart, but all other brands from that era that I have seen have been a mortise and tenon.
