OK:

I’ve been learning for over a year now.

Learned 9 pieces from Peter Wernick’s book “Bluegrass Banjo”.
Took a set of clawhammer lessons this spring for some variety.
About two months ago, upgraded to planetary tuners on my Epiphone MB-100. It is an inexpensive banjo, but I like the look, sound, and feel now.

I find playing is a great way to unwind, notwithstanding comments from the family!

Oh, and when I changed my mindset about learning from being in a “race to learn”, to being “on a journey” so to speak, I was able to relax and enjoy it a lot more. I am becoming more philosophical as I get older I guess!
