 This beautiful OME showbanjo actually is the banjo that you can see on the OME web-page, only with a presto tailpiece.The model is a OME Northstar, style is Megatone Bluegrass, woods: walnut & ebony, tungoil finish, neck is radiused, double cut peghead, 11" Megatone 200 tonering, tortoise binding, metal is aged vintage brass, wooden armrest, renaissance head, 11/16" Snuffy Smith radiused bridge, railroad spikes on 7th and 9th fret, vintage brass Presto tailpiece. Price $3900 incl. hsc and shipping. It's a prototype banjo that OME showed at some of the instrument fairs. Bela Fleck recently orded one but this one seems to be the first one they ever made. It has a very beautiful sound with very long sustain and is in mint condition, no scratches or dents whatsoever. |
