Greetings,

I have an Ome that is supposedly the prototype to the triple x model. It was owned by a Harry Kashey ( banjo player from st Pete). Supposedly it was chuck Ogsbury's banjo before he gave it to Harry. I have had it for about 12 years and need help confirming this. Photos are in my photo album. Thanks

	drscottyj says: 4/8/2015 9:35:04 AM Update... sent photos etc to Tanya and chuck took a look at them.. basically he said, If you go to our website in the HISTORY - Ome Banjos section, you will see that the first Triple X is #25, made in 1971. This banjo is a little later. It looks all original, but it has a cast bronze flathead tone ring which was unusual. It was made when I was not actively involved in OME and is most likely the prototype for putting the cast tone ring on the OME 5-strings.
