Anyone who plays an OME banjo ( or anyone who knows what an OME is)

Hi All,
I was recently gifted (long story) an OME Monarch. Specifically, if the receipt is to be believed, an "OME Monarch Resonator 'Limited Edition' Flathead Vintage."
That's great -- however, I see no identifying markings anywhere on the banjo, inside or out (except for the OME on the peghead), except for the serial "015" stamped on the back of the peghead and on the rim. No "Boulder, Colorado" or "OME" anywhere. Does this sound likely? I see nothing remotely like this serial number in any of the OME catalogs, unless this is one of the first 15 banjos built in '72, and it looks way more modern than that.
