I live in Strongsville. I take my banjo to the lutherine home jam in westlake on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, and also I go to the folknet canal way metro park jam on Saturdays, but I missed today because it was too suing and warm to be inside.

I'm real close. Highland Heights, Ohio, and I can always use more practice playing with others. If you know of any jams close by -please post
here - or even IM me. I'll show up. I'm about two years into my banjo journey and progressing alright considering.

I live in South Euclid...new to banjo and learning clawhammer (and then hopefully 2-Finger /3-Finger styles). I have been using the Cathy Fink video lessons which are great but would love to know if anyone can recommend any good instructors in the area (Cleveland...East side preferably)?
Thanks,
Greg

I'm in South Euclid too. I just started taking lessons last month after trying to teach myself. Jim Brenner teaches banjo out of the Fairmount School of Music.
Things make much more sense when you can ask questions and get instruction on proper technique.

Any Jams in the Cleveland Area? I'm awaiting a transplant, at the Cleveland Clinic and would like to keep playing until I can't for the obvious reasons. Ive been playing 35 years, teaching 20 and been a member of several years traveling with professional bands from the midwest. Would love to help any one with lesson also....thanks

I have just been released from the Cleveland Clinic after my transplant and will be ready for some jams that any one knows about . I will be living here in Cleveland Heights for at least 1 year.
