I'm thinking of trying to put together a slow bluegrass jam group in the Springfield, OH area. The focus will be on learning to jam. for those with no or limited experience The speed will be slow, and we might even play the same song a few times in a row to get experience playing. My neighbor is learning to play bluegrass guitar and we have been getting together every few weeks, picking a few tunes, and playing along with some of the Jam DVDs. Thinking about trying to get a few other instruments and players. Also welcoming singers as we sing even worse than we pick. Contact me if you know of anyone near Springfield that may be interested.
