Good day to all,
just a few words to announce the birth of the Montreal Banjo All Stars.
A bilingual group dedicated to unite banjoist living in and around the greater Montreal ( Burlington, Ottawa, Quebec, Sherbrooke,etc).
The goal of the group is to offer local banjo enthusiasts a chance to share, meet and discuss.
Also, depending on membership response and participation maybe organize group trips to festivals (Jenny Brooke in Vermont for example or in Cambellton, NB). And/or try, through a big membership to get local music shops to carry a wider selection for us banjoists and/or offer members deals. Maybe promote shows so that we get to see big names in Montreal.
In short: sky is the limit!!!
Tennesseans have Clinch mountain, we have the Mont-Royal!
