This should be a good spot for discussing Minstrel Banjo music. Right off the bat, I would like to also call this "Stroke Style" of play, as Early Banjo music was not limited to the Minstrel stage and often is misunderstood.
This should include everything up to the transition to Classic, but includes early finger style as well. There is a lot of crossover in the early days.
