I'm a banjo newbie. I am really interested to know if there are any jam type activities in my area, Harbor Springs, Petoskey. If you know of some please reply back. If there aren't any maybe we could get something going.

	Tim Zowada says: 2/1/2012 8:35:00 AM Jonny, There are two that I know of. The Grain Train in Petoskey hosts a jam every Sunday afternoon. I think it is 1pm - 4pm. I think it is in conjunction with the Blissfest folks. That would make it a "folk" music type thing. The Celtic crowd has a twice monthly get together in Boyne City. there is a lot of info here: synergysong.com/session.aspx I have e-mailed the leader. She says all are welcome and sent me a couple song books. It is mostly Celtic stuff with a little Folk and Bluegrass as well. I haven't had the time to attend either of these. I hope to later this winter. I hope this helps.
