The name says it all. If you live in Louisiana and play the banjo, come on in, have some gumbo, pick a little or just say hi!

OK, I started this group several years ago, and it never had tons of activity. But we've got a member looking for banjo players around the Lafayette area. We also had a New Orleans member give a shout out several months ago, and no one (including me) responded. Let's all post where we live (no, we don't want you home address...don't need any stalkers...just the city, town, hamlet, farming community, or whatever where you are).

I'll start. I'm Vince Abadie, and I live in Baton Rouge.
OK...you're turn...go!

Billy Hammond here, originally from Jennings, lived most of my life in Lake Charles area, now living on Caney Lake just outside of Jonesboro La. Selling soon and moving back to Lake Charle/Sulphur area

Jim Brown here, from Orange, Texas (OK, not in Louisiana but about as close as you can get in Southeast Texas; just the other side of the Sabine River). Not far from Lake Charles/Sulphur area.

Jebtex, we were big into the S E Texas association back in the 90's

Billy maybe we can hook up when you get back to the Lake Chuck/Sluphur area; I play clawhammer and can sometimes fake bluegrass guitar backup.
