I could clearly see this group is dead before I joined it, but on the off chance anyone's around...

I have played in a community orchestra most of my life, but just recently gave different kinds of groups a try. It's really true - you get better playing with other people. I found a skill level appropriate group for each instrument I play, either in person or virtual, except for the banjo.

I can't find a suitable place to play my banjo with other people.

Anyone know of anything on Long Island?

	Heady says: 3/19/2022 6:15:11 PM I just wanted to check back in to say.... I started popping on the online sessions with the LITMA band and will be playing with them now. That said - I was still to chicken to try playing banjo with actual people - so I brought my other things with strings but I am really enjoying them. Thanks for the leads :) One day I'll get up the guts to try banjo with them.
