Well, I need to tackle a new project like a hole in the head but what the heck? I've owned a Sully Irish tenor banjo made by John Hullah for a few years now.

I started putting the pieces together a few years back (including a week-long class with Gerry O'Connor that was enough to disillusion me with the amazing ability he displayed...great guy too)  then abandoned it but now I'm crawling back into the fray for no good reason I can think of other than the fact that banjo triplets keep popping into my mind.

I have noticed there is very little material available for the Irish tenor but I just ordered Enda Scahill's tutor and am looking forward to its arrival.

I ordered Enda's book as well. I love how it is set out. The only thing I am missing is a Banjo ;) But I'm working on that.
