Thanks again Tom for arranging this! I wish I'd felt better - heading to the doc tomorrow morning.

Looking forward to more, and actually remembering something to play :-)

I could use some suggestions as to what you guys would like to see done and discussed at these meetings, too. We all want to learn more about this great hobby.

	banjotef says: 8/10/2011 7:53:39 PM Yeah, it's very different playing by yourself, or picking around other people. The nerves can get a little more active! One of my practice techniques is to play a tune I know well, but slowly and as softly as I can. I discovered that to build speed, try to pick at a moderate to low volume. It can really reduce your mistakes.
