Rylandish drove in from Boulder, Colo. to pick up his new banjo yesterday. We played in the afternoon, but we built a fire in the backyard and didn't play last night,
The avatar photo is Grapefruit (Jupiter #003) with Fresnel ledges and gold spoons.
Ry got the ledges and gold spoons with a Black Walnut rim, he plays much and outdoors.
His famous family Harmony longneck with ALUMINUM rim was carjacked. That banjo was played by his Grandfather who gave his life for the USA in Vietnam as an aviator. I'm honored. So we'll try this for a while.
He participated in the Great Grapefruit Massacree of 2009, Jupiter #002, another longneck. He assembled that banjo himself as a gift for another.
Both of his banjos have had Canadian Brass, thanks Bill.
