I've been wanting to try some nylon strings so last night I threw on a minstrel bridge made by BHO member stringbean and tied up some chris sands medium nylon strings on my zephyr. They went on easily (had to widen the nut just a smidge for the 3rd and 4th strings) and tuned to open G just fine. It sounds pretty good. I'll try to find some time this weekend, to put up a recording.
Just wanted to put this out there in case any other helix owners have considered using nylons or are currently using them. I searched the forum and asked larry and couldnt find any info of others doing the same.
