I just delivered the first Sassafrass banjo rim, This is a good thing, not a common wood for rims. I'm very happy with the sound

	WayneConrad says: 9/1/2017 6:56:25 AM I've heard it, and had the pleasure of playing it. It sounds very good. It's got a bit of "sass" in its voice, a bit of metallic twang. It's also got a deepness to its voice that balances out the twang. What a lousy description of it, but I'm not great at describing sounds. I agree that it's a nice sound, however. It's pretty, too.
