OK, helix league, here's another chance to help.
Carob is the health food substitute for Cocoa. My neighbor has the finest Carob Tree in the county, my dogs crunch the seed pods and spit out the seeds.
The wood is fantastic. Great knock note. Pink/Orange are the stripes from sap to heart.
I have 3 big billets of it to make a few rims.
What to name this type of wood in a helix rim?
