Hi all,
I received a letter from Dan Bump's wife today confirming that the Top Tension Bridseye Maple 5 String Banjo that Dan had was aquired from Bill Keith, his long time college buddy, and co inventor of the Keith Bump Banjo D-Tuners. She also said it was one of the ones that Great Lakes Banjo Company gave to Bill Keith for helping them with suggestions on what he liked a banjo to be built like.
I still haven't cleaned the patena off the metal parts, except I did clean it off the Arm Rest, where the worse of it was, and it cleaned up pretty good.
Still open from suggestions from the Group as to wheater I should clean it up, or leave the patena on it, and in the Original condition as received.
Don
