Greetings,

Does anyone know if most of the higher end Great Lakes Banjo had "no hole" tone rings?

Also, which recordings did Bill Keith use his GL Top Tension Elite banjo to record?

	Tonecaster says: 7/24/2017 8:46:35 AM Here is a reply from Mark Zimmerman one of the owners and builders of the Great Lakes Banjos: Nearly all GLBC banjos had solid (no holes) tone rings and all after 1975 were solid. As for the recordings I can only say that Bill used the BKTT on the "Something Old, Something New" album for sure. There are probably other recordings but couldn't say which.

You'll find the inside of the CD inlay with Bill and his Great Lakes and Jim Collier. That album was recorded in France. I'm not sure if it was distributed in the States.
