I have an opportunity to buy a Gibson 1927 TB 2, with a '66 Gibson bow tie neck. He is asking $2000 for it. It is a no hole arch top. It is in mint condition. Played it and it sounds good, and plays good. Never really played an AT, read some post on BHO that AT's are not really good for Scruggs style. And problems with playing with a band. So is this true, and is this a good price for this jo.

	jonfinder says: 8/27/2013 6:04:50 PM Well, FON of 8718, on page 83 of Joe's indispensable "Spann's Guide to Gibson" the 8718 series was a TB1 and was 1927. But I'll defer to Joe about whether 8718-42 was a TB2.
