I thought I would point ya'll to some pictures of my '28 Granada. This is the only conversion I own. Nothing has been changed except the curly maple neck which is very old; I don't know who made it.

The banjo is a joy to play and sounds great! I've had her since the early 80s. She's the one on my avatar as well and you can read more at my home page at this site.

	ALT says: 3/13/2011 10:41:46 AM Michael Thanx for directing us to the photos. That's a beautiful piece of wood for the neck. Also I love the matte gold plating. 'Wondering if that was a special process or if they made shiny gold plating unshiny after initial plating? ALT

The photos didn't bring it out much (I used a filter) and one part is reversed (shiny on one side, matt on the other); I need to take her all apart and reverse it back again. That is a great piece of wood and I would really like to know who made the neck and when.
