New to Group....Georgia Boy

From Logtown on 5/24/2012 1:46:30 AM

I was wondering if I knew any of you guys and gals.  I am a Georgia boy who grew up between Lawrenceville and Dacula picking with the Tanners and the Everetts and many others.  Played the club scene in Atlanta for decades before hitting the road with Doug Stone in the 1990's.  Mainly a fiddler/mandolin/guitar player but just got a new Gibson Deluxe and am having a lot of fun learning.  Everyone has been great on this website to help with advice.  Look forward to hearing from all of you.  On the road this weekend doing gospel bluegrass with The Watkins Family out of Toccoa.  If I have any old friends out there that know Jeff Stanley from Dacula, please let yourselves be known, otherwise, I will be getting to know all soon!  God Bless

I live in Auburn, just down the road from Dacula. Just moved down here from Cornelia, GA earlier this year when I purchased a house. Hit me up sometime!

Thanks Kyle...working with The Watkins Family some from Toccoa now. Not far from Cornelia. I'm living in West Central Georgia and only grew up in Gwinnett County. Hope to run into you one day!
