My Matthew is a fretless 5 string with a 12.25 inch rim. It has original ornate inlaid celluloid pegs, 40 tension rods and engraving all around the rim. the name GEO P MATTHEW is stamped in uppercase on the velum side of the perch rod with no surrounding oval. It neck is made of three alternating pieces of mahogany?, maple? and mahogany?. I bought it in 1969 and use it for minstrel and traditional playing. My membership picture is it but more photos will follow. I would really appreciate any information about it.
