I been playing 3 finger since 71, I play fiddle tunes mostly melodic,but i borrow hammers and pull-offs from the clawhammer crowd, when that gets me out of a spot.It also adds variety .I single string a little but it is my slowest method,

One of the things that stuck with me,i read a while back''.It's not so much the fiddle tune,as what the fiddle player brings to the tune''
