Recently re-discovered how amazing the old California Fenders sound. Powerful banjos with a full range of tone. I can't believe they aren't more popular. I guess you guys already know that or you wouldn't be here.

	banjoez says: 6/7/2016 6:53:22 AM I've compared my Artists to quite a few of the newer banjos on the market as well as some vintage ones and there has not been one yet that I can honestly say surpasses the Fenders.

It's number #1255, very thin neck, Scruggs Tuners labeled 'ODE'. The label says Fender Musical Instruments, Santa Anna, Calif. I was told that it was a very early model from the 1960's, when I originally bought it from a fellow who said he got it from Mandolin Brothers ...
