Just wanted to say hi and check in with this group. I just happened upon an Artist a little while ago and posted some questions on the collectors forum. Seems mine might be a bit different as it's an archtop with a Concertone neck. Thanks to those that are helping me piece together a possible history.

I'll enjoy playing it for a while and then probably list it for sale. It's been fun dusting off the picks for this frailer.

My poison is open-backs and in my 'collection' I have an Artist open-back and an Artist long-neck. The quality of construction is impeccable and certainly puts the Gibsons of the same era to shame. I'll look forward to conversations about these fine banjos. Paul
