I picked up a used 12" Tradesman (#477) at a good price earlier this year and it has since become my number one 'jo!
It took awhile to adjust to the neck after playing a couple of Ramseys with chubby necks, but now I love it, and everything about it, mainly that the tone fits my playing style to a T. This Tradesman is far less expensive than either of my former "number ones", but it is the one instrument I would grab as I ran out of a burning house.
I had planned on putting one of John Balch's wonderful Goatskin heads on it, but I have come to like the tone just as it is with the Ren head and do now want to mess with it now, it's a keeper.
Nice that something so simple and affordable can also be quality.
Next step, Enoch Dobson!
