Howdy folks!

I have a 2002 Deluxe, and have been using the

J60 5-String Banjo Strings which are

.009-.010-.013-.020w-.009

What gage strings do you use? I have been wanting to go up to more of a medium gage. Will going up to a medium gage do any damage? I believe that the Deering factory ships out at 10, 11, 13 ,21w,10.

Any ideas?

	Randyc1959 says: 4/15/2012 8:28:39 AM I use PF 175 GHS on mine. These are medium Gauge. I find that I get quite a bit more volume and pop with these over light gauge.
	sctoney says: 9/20/2013 3:34:30 AM I have a 2010 Deluxe and love it. I use D'Addario J69s on it. I think they are the same size as the J60, but are the bronze strings instead of the nickle. I tried the nickle and did not like them. You might give the J69s a try......Stan
