Howdy!
What's going on in your area? What are you up to? Anyone go to Banjo Camp North?
I'm just playing at home in Shelton and working on things for mostly non-banjo gigs but keeping an ear to the pavement... I frail, and I'm not a bluegrass picker, but play clawgrass-ish-ly when needed.
I'd be interested to know if there are some more old-time-music things happening. My ears need more exposure to fiddle & banjo tunes. Also, I'd like to know of singer-songwriters who are playing banjo instead of guitar.

Sept 24, 8 pm - Ash Creek String Band, Huntington St. Cafe, Shelton, CT
Sept 27, 7:30 pm - Bluegrass Characters with Chris Brashear, Stacy Philips and Nick Novia at the Outer Space, Hamden, CT
Sept 29 8 pm - Bluegrass and Beer at the Acoustic Cafe, Bridgeport (Black Rock) hosted by Hoe
Every Thurs - Bluegrass at My Place Pizza, Newtown, CT - it alternates between a few bands. I think it starts around 8--I'd call first if you're going from far away.
