In an older music book I had, the tune "Fur Elise" had 2 titles. Listed under the main title of "Fur Elise" was another title "Albumblatt". Or at least I used to think it was 2 titles, like of like Dr. Zhavago / Laura's theme.

But I've now seen the "title" Albumblatt in other tunes on YouTube.

So the question is: Is Albumblatt a title, or a style? or did my book have it listed wrong? I no longer have the book, which I wish I did, as it was full of great musical pieces. It is (was) a main publication lesson book and may still be available, but I'd have to see the cover to remember the name of it.

	Rob MacKillop says: 7/4/2011 9:39:24 AM Albumblatt means, I believe, a 'piece (ie tune) from an album' - an album being a sheet-music collection. See my video and recording of the Albumblatt by Cammeyer - a beautiful piece.
