It is very interesting how many women plays banjo here and who they are? :) Let's talk about you! Where are you from, how old are you and other interesting things! We can be friends :)

	Hilly Girl says: 3/11/2012 2:54:58 PM Hi Janna and Dunaif, I live in Ireland, in the hilly rural north west, we have a few acres of hilly scrubby boggy land and are building our own house and we teach people to build their own wind turbines. I will be 48 this summer and started playing the banjo last year, very enthusiastically at first, then I hit a lull and recently I have been trying to get back to my old habit of daily practise as I try to learn clawhammer now. I like the idea of learning more about each here, thanks for starting this thread.

I teach beginner/intermediate banjo and have for several years. I LOVE helping people find the joy of the banjo. I've had teenagers, middle agers, and senior citizens. I have 9 grandkids and 2 children grown. Retired from elementary teaching and now having a ball being home and "playing" with my banjo students.
