I definitely made goo-goo eyes at it but could not go there as about a month ago I lucked into a mint, as-new "closet queen" Bart Reiter Tubaphone. I do have a Ramsey Bacon and love it. Was wishing I could hear what this Ramsey sounds like and it does not disappoint.
ceemonster says: 8/8/2020 7:27:50 PM BTW, RE the note on one of your clips that you "could only find evidence of 5 Ramsey Tubaphones ever made"---- I couldn't say how many walnut Tubaphones Mike Ramsey has done, but it's definitely safe to say he's made more than five Tubaphones. Ramsey Tubaphones aren't as numerous as his Electrics and Bacons, but there have definitely been a good number more than five.

	Danny D says: 8/9/2020 7:12:34 AM ceemonster, Thank you for the comments. I’m referring to the version 3 Tubaphone only with the same inlay as this one. He surely made more tubaphones. This is my first Ramsey and I just love it. I know he has caused trouble with some of his actions and thats really sad. He was a really good builder and some of his banjos really make me envious of those who own them. Next, I’d love to have a 12” woody version but don’t see a lot of them for sale now.
