I just want to brag on Brooks. I recently picked up my new 11" spunover with electric tone ring. This banjo is just amazing. Great presence and volume but none of the ice pick in your ear resonance I've experienced before. The setup was perfect. Brooks' metal work is amazing. The "roasted" effect on the curly maple is to die for. Check out the photos on my profile Masten #315. Hope to have a soundfile up at some point. Thanks Brooks for the shop tour, too!

egretflats says: 12/4/2017 7:33:49 AM I got #316 10/31/16 an all walnut 11" with brass tone ring and goat skin head and walnut bridge made from the wood cut from the wood of the neck above the fifth string. Maybe your bridge is from my banjo as there is enough for two. He's a great artist and gave me a royal tour of his studio.
