Hi guys, this is my first post and I am just starting up as a hopeful bluegrass player!! I am experiencing problems with my 5th string, I tune it to G and then after a few plucks it goes back to F# or F! I am quite puzzled about this, so if anyone has any advice or tips that would be great, thanks guys

	Banjob says: 9/13/2011 9:43:17 AM If the string itself is slipping, it may not be properly attached to the peg. If the peg is slipping it may not be a geared peg. If it has the little set screw in the end of the peg, try tightening that with a small screwdriver.
