Good to have all you that have joined our group in the last couple of weeks. Glad to see so many Bluegrass Gospel fans on the hangout! If you have friends who would like to join us tell them about it.

	steve davis says: 5/1/2011 5:46:31 PM Me and my brother and sister started singing as a trio in church when we were 5 to 8 years old.Our mother played the piano and we'd practice evenings at home the week before.Our little Advent Christian church in Port Clyde Maine has a rich,musical history. Thursday evenings were set aside for making music,exclusively.That was called "Singspiration" and brought out people that didn't normally go to church.Dad played his pedal steel there,often,too. I believe singing in front of the congregation early on like that was the reason I've never had stage fright. Two of Mom's favorites were "Heaven" and "I'll Fly Away".
	Steve Bruce says: 5/2/2011 4:52:41 AM Steve, my family was singing in church just like yours from a very early age. We had a bluegrass gospel family band during my late teen years and I think that's why I don't have stage fright today. But, I sure did then! :-)
