Well I just got back home from my weekly Friday night visit to "BILL'S MUSIC SHOP & PICKIN' PARLOR" here in Columbia,S.C. Open stage lasted for a full 2 hours tonight and all the groups and musicians played their heart's out! A lot of the music tonight was Bluegrass Gospel, the crowd was really into it & that always pulls the best out of the groups. The late (Bluegrass Legend Pappy Sherill)'s son was there tonight and brought his late fathers 300 year old fiddle for a fine young local fiddle player to play on stage. It was a very special moment that rarely happens in a lifetime. I'm so glad I was there. Listening to the music blesses me so much and it has inspired me to practice with more focus & discipline. I thank God for the gift of music.
