Anyone have a Bishline woody? If so, how do you like it? Does it keep up in a bluegrass jam?

	Ragtimejoe says: 10/4/2015 7:41:03 AM Mine is a Cimmaron with a maple tone ring instead of a metal tone ring. He has a video on YouTube comparing the two tone ring. Not much of a difference except the wood tone ring is model is 6 lbs and works mighty fine for clawhammer as well. It's become my go to banjo if I don't if I going to be playing bluegrass or old time.

Both great banjos, but the woody is just as loud, sounds mellower such that I can hear where my melody may go next better, and yes plays like butter. I have owned and played a lot of great banjos, and this one is head and shoulders above the next best. Rob's a great guy too.
