Been working on this tune for a couple of weeks that Rob taught me. I know I tend to rush it at times, but I can't seem to slow down! Just wanted to show off the sound of my banjo. :-)

Wow, incredible sound...I can always seem to distinguish the sound of a Bishline :) On another note, great job on the song...I have yet to try and attempt Doug's Tune...I hear it's a beast?!?

Thank you, sir! There's nothing like a Bishline for that great tone and volume, is there? Doug's Tune is not the easiest song I've tried to learn but, if I can do it, I'll bet you can. As you can probably tell from my playing, the two biggest challenges - at least to me - on that tune are the timing issues, and that decending D run. But you can do it, man! Incidentally, thanks for administering this group site! It's great, and I appreciate it!!

Ha! We shall see...I'm currently without my Bishline, as I am deployed overseas. However, I am in the process of trying to find something play on..at least that has 5 strings, frets, and makes a sound (let me know if you know of any) :) But, you are correct...nothing like a BISHLINE!
I am very excited to see that so many people have joined the group. I am going to make my best effort at making sure this group gets used more! After I created it (which anybody could have done), I went under the radar for a while.

I am safe, thank you...I am allowed to have one, just couldn't bring mine with me (not that I wanted to). If you're like me, that banjo is considered a stress reliever :) But yes, if you find one let me know...I've been trying to find a good deal.

Yes, ma'am - I did. I'm sorry; I had reread the rules about posting recordings which state that copyrighted material must not be posted. I don't think the copyright owner would come after me (especially no better than I play!!), but I didn't want to potentially get the BHO in any trouble. All that said, I would be happy to send it to you in an e-mail, if you like.

You are too kind, my friend; thank you. I think enthusiasm is characteristic of most Bishline owners as evidenced by this group. Plus, your enthusiasm tends to transfer to other people. Now, if only your talent would, too I'd be a much better picker! I don't think you really need that tuner; you can get that banjo closer in tune by ear than I can with that tuner!! Se ya Tues.!!
