I'm in love with my custom Heirloom (MOP Cardigan corgi at full run on the headstock and paw prints on the fretboard rather than dogs) and am smitten with my Okie. Though I'm tall (female), I play seated and prefer a short scale. The Corgi resonator banjo is magnificent in figured maple with koa binding, radiused fretboard, and short scale. About to order a customized openback. It'll be a short scale with radiused fretboard and it will have an MOP Cardigan (with the tail) corgi on the headstock. I think we're going to go with mahogany for sustain, but we're still talking species. Rob's been fantastic about getting back to me with answers to my questions... and it's almost time to push the button. Can't wait.
