Hi Folks,

New member to BHO, but been lurking for a while. In the market for a Reiter banjo, I've just requested some input in the shopping advice forum: http://www.banjohangout.org/topic/266315

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I drove about 200-miles to this store, so I could play a number of models all in the same session. I was not interested in looks or reputation..I wanted a Player that I could use for gigs. I didn't fuss with it much; adjusted the tailpiece and tightened the head to get a crisper sound. Heavier strings. Hmmm...other than that, this is an excellent source of OPINIONS. Barts instruments are all well made and I think you'll be happy. This site is also a great source of Good-Deals . Man, I paid retail. (But I've been in the trenches with it and just gigged with it on the 4th o July!)
