I followed the linc you posted in here and came across this great video...so I wrote to Craig, the fellow that made it;

Hello Craig ~ I just saw the very nice interview-video you did of Bart Reiter...and am writing to compliment you on a number of levels.

First off, it was surprisingly instructive! I had assumed that Reiter banjos were some big company shop with 20-guys and a parking lot. I was very touched that my banjo was made by a guy in a small wood shop like my Dads. Very very nice. Gosh, that means my banjo was actually made by Bart. I didn't know that.

My second point; is that I've been involved in a number of video projects and have a great respect for the power of its immediacy...it's story-telling aspect. See, now I feel I kinda know him.

I've got a few things up on Youtube and I know how difficult it can be to make even a small project. Please keep up with your video shoots...nice stuff!

Thank you for what you do. Play on!
