Just got a new 1998 tubaphone from Zepp. Pretty much mint less a (half split ferrule that probably came apart in shipping).Scooped fingerboard, frets like new. I've been a 12" pot fan for so long I had forgotten how good Bart's tubaphone's are. This is a great banjo.

Last time I had a tubaphone it was a 1920's and had an original skin head and my wife killed it with one of my knifes. Still claims it was an accident........

BTW, I discovered that the ferrule was non functional but Bart was sending me another one anyway (that's customer service).

	jmoathout says: 3/29/2013 7:42:53 AM Congratulations. I also out a dowell ferrule on a couple of Bart's banjos that were not on the original. Got from Elderly's I believe. You might want to get a skin head. All of mine have calf or goat made by John Balch. You're in Nashville, I'm Mt. Juliett, John is in Murfreesboro. All close
