I need an armrest. Do you have one on yur Reiter?

	jbalch says: 2/25/2013 2:04:29 PM I use the type that Harry recommended. I like those very well. I have them on all of my 11" rim Reiter banjos. On the 12: rim banjos, I sometimes use a wire type. Some folks object to the fact that the Vega style armrests sit high - about 1/2" above the tension hoop. Personally I like having my forearm elevated above the head to prevent muting the sound.

	jmoathout says: 2/26/2013 7:13:54 AM Before I raised my armrest (it was in dropped position a la Lo Gordon banjos), I was snagging knitted shirts on the ends of string loops at the tailpiece. To solve that, I threaded (over and under) a short piece of pipe cleaner. The fuzz prevents the snags.
