Has anyone out there put a fiberskyn head on a Round Peak? If so, how did it work out?

	jbalch says: 12/20/2012 11:33:34 AM I used fiberskyn on my Reiter banjos for several years. I don't have a Round Peak - but I did use that type head on my 12" Reiter professional during the recording of my ~HOT~ Biscuit Jam cd. Now days I prefer hide heads. But if I were going to use something else. It would be fiberskyn.
	Steve Donnelly says: 12/21/2012 1:48:47 PM I have a Reiter tubaphone which sounds best with a tight fiberskyn head as opposed to a renaissance. I think Mr. Balch suggested I use one in this case, However, my Reiter Standard sounds better with a ren.
	Slick Salmon says: 12/21/2012 1:56:05 PM Thanks. My concern is that Round Peak is a whole different beast from any of Bart's 11 banjos. All those banjos are pretty bright. The RP is pretty un-bright, and it might just go dead with fiberskyn. Fortunately, I'm having trouble finding a 12" skyn head, so this whole idea may be a non-starter.
