	N8116B says: 10/26/2012 3:14:15 PM I'm the guy who won the auction and I got the banjo in the mail today. In the pictures it did look like it had some grim on it. So the first thing I did upon taking it out of the box was do a good clean up on it, change out the strings and do an over check of it. The lack of bracket band does not really bother me at all. I did see that the tailpiece was loose. I think that is why the previous owner may have put the pipe cleaners around the strings. Straightened that out and no buzzing from it vibrating anymore. I did notice a very slight bow in the neck (low in the center). I will probably send it back to Bart for an adjustment in a few weeks, maybe even take it there myself as he is only a couple of hours away. The frets were in great shape, cleaned, conditioned and oiled the finger board. You could tell that the banjo had been in a dry climate (New Mexico). No cracks or anything bad at all. Plays great! I compared it to my Bart Galax and the sound is a bit deeper, but they feel very similar.
