I put minstrel nylgut strings on that Reiter fretless, I got a custom bridge from Bart Veerman. The dead spot is gone and it's much easier to match the tone of open and fretted notes and it's more "forgiving" with intonation. I'm getting better tone the closer I move the bridge to the center of the pot but I don't want to loose the pip as a 5th fret refrance mark. I'm gonna really like this!
