	blanham says: 2/11/2012 12:43:04 PM I never thought about the possiblity that a better banjo can actually make a beginner sound worse. It makes sense, if they have a timid and light touch, and they are not putting enough energy into it. Also, regarding the complaint about the brackets, with a standard or round peak model, you have to upgrade the nuts to ball-ends, and then it'll be fine.

" I have a hard time with that quote, although Gold Stars rock they are quite a different beast. Man, the guy went on and on....,that wasn't a review , that was a novel,...too much coffee??
