Looking for a plunky roundpeak tone any suggestions for setup to achieve this? I was thinking either skin or Fiberskyn head but what type of tailpiece and bridge?

	jbalch says: 1/24/2012 10:29:54 AM Plunky? - I think you are on the right track with a skin head. No-knot is probably as good a tailpiece as any. You want very little down pressure on the stings and bridge. I think a thick bridge might be helpful too. With skin heads, I sometimes use a slightly taller bridge (so I don't have to over-tighten the hide). Slightly relaxed head tension can also add "plunkyness."

	RWJonesy says: 2/7/2012 4:52:50 PM The banjo arrived today. Current setup is Bill Miller calfskin head, original bridge and no knot. This banjo is just what I am looking for in a workhorse banjo. It is sweet and plunky. Man Bart makes such quality banjos for a bargain deal.
